This paper addresses predictive control method of high
order chaotic systems. Once the chaotic behaviour is identified on
the bifurcation diagram, the control algorithm is then used to
stabilize a desired unstable periodic orbits (UPOs) embedded in
the chaotic system. The design procedure is illustrated by using
the chaotic Chua and Rössler systems as examples, on which
simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed
methodology.
