This review article focuses on the connection between chaos theory
and gauge theories. We consider operator-valued stochastic fields
and illustrate their application on the examples of the classical
motion on Riemann manifolds, quarks in QCD stochastic vacuum and
random errors in holonomic quantum computations. An analogy is
discussed between QCD vacuum and environment in quantum
information theory. Recent results on chaos assisted instanton
tunneling are reviewed.
