Energy Diffusion Depending on the Strength of Frustration for XXZ Spin Chains.
Kazue Kudo and Katsuhiro Nakamura

We discuss energy diffusion for frustrated quantum spin chains in the presence of a periodically oscillating magnetic field. Frustrated quantum XXZ spin chains are typically deterministic many-body systems exhibiting Gaussian orthogonal ensemble (GOE) spectral statistics. Diffusion coefficients are found to obey the power law with respect to both the field strength and driving frequency. Its power is different between the linear response and non-perturbative regimes. The widths of the linear response and the non-perturbative regimes depend on the strength of frustrations. In the case of weakened frustrations, we also observe oscillation of energy diffusion.
Key words: energy diffusion, quantum many-body system, frustration
