Anisotropic Model and Nonstationary Problem for Viscoelastic Polymeric Fluids.
W. G. Litvinov

A constitutive equation of polymeric fluids is developed which describes nonlinear viscoelastic properties and the anisotropy of these fluids. The constitutive equation permits to describe the main peculiarities of flow of polymeric fluids, in particular, different resistance for tension and compression flows, increase of the tension viscosity with increase of the extension, the features of transitional flows, and so on. The constitutive equation gives rice to correct mathematical problems. Based on this constitutive equation, the general problem on nonstationary flow of nonlinear viscoelastic fluid is formulated and studied. At some regularization reasonable from the physical point of view, the existence of a weak global solution of the problem is proved.
Key words: nonlinear viscoelastic fluid, peculiarities of flow, nonstationary flow
