Study of the Behavior of a Fourth Order Non-Autonomous Circuit in Low Frequency Area.
Maria S. Papadopoulou, Ioannis N. Stouboulos, and Ioannis M. Kyprianids

In this paper the dynamic behavior of a fourth order nonlinear circuit has been studied. The circuit consists of a N-type nonlinear resistor RN, a negative conductance Gn and a sinusoidal generator . The theoretical and experimental phase portraits and spectrums are been presented, for various values of the amplitude of the input signal, in the low frequency area. The genesis and catastrophe of the Double-Bell strange attractor have been observed. Finally, the Poincare diagrams are been given and we are concluding about system's dynamic behavior.
Key words: nonlinear dynamics, chaos, non-autonomous circuit, Lyapunov exponent, double-Bell attractor
