A dripping faucet experiment, based on a new apparatus is presented.
Time-drop intervals, covering the entire dripping spectrum, are measured and
a multifarious nonlinear action is detected. In particular, we report three distinct
dripping regions of complex behavior and discuss their main features. Finally,
we propose alternative methods for estimating the invariant characteristics of the experimental
signals, in frames of nonlinear time series analysis.
