This paper presents the methodology for a choice of perspective wind turbine sites allocation. The methodology includes spatial digitizing of geographical map taking into account complicated relief, artificial obstacles and surface roughness. Incomplete meteorological data obtained from anemometer stations near village Boyary-2 (Brest district) are used for prediction of regional wind climate and estimation of wind potential.
Key words: wind velocity, perspective wind turbine, geoinformation technologies, relief, meteorological data
