Heavy Quarks and Quarkonia Production at RHIC as a Probe of Hot and Dense QCD Medium.

Production of heavy quarks and quarkonia in high energy heavy ion collisions at RHIC is reviewed. Current understandings and recent progress of heavy quark and quarkonia production in hot and dense medium are discussed and future developments are described.
