A novel differentially coherent communication scheme based on the use of chaotic radio pulses as information carriers is proposed. The developed scheme is easier to implement in microwaves than its analogues, because it contains only short-time delay elements. The communication process is simulated and noise immunity performance in AWGN (additive white Gaussian noise) channel is estimated.
Key words: chaos-based communication system, differentially coherent reception, correlation, chaotic pulse, ultra-wideband signal
