Operator Method in the Problem of a Lengthy System of Two-Level Atoms Interacting with a Single-Mode Quantum Field.
O.A. Migal and I.D. Feranchuk

Present work is devoted to investigation of the energy spectrum of a lengthy system of two-level atom interacting with a one-mode quantum field. Such model has a widespread applications in physics and laser technique and permits to describe a lot of concrete physical phenomena. In the work the so-called operator method (OM) is used, which permits one to find uniformly available approximation for observed data within a wide range of the Hamiltonian parameters and quantum numbers of the system.
Key words: operator method, two-level system, collective effects
