Exact Quantum Master Equation for N Interacting Anharmonic Oscillators Bilinearly Coupled to a Harmonic Bath.

Recently, Chou et al. [Phys. Rev. E 77, 011112 (2008)] have derived an exact master equation for two coupled quantum harmonic oscillators immersed in the quantum harmonic bath with bilinear system-bath coupling. The aim of the preset Note is to show that the result of Chou et al. can be generalized to any number N of harmonic oscillators with anharmonic inter-oscillator coupling. The domain of applicability of the derived master equation is also discussed.
